What is Digital Literacy?
Digital Literacy is the ability to use digital technology, communication tools or networks to locate, evaluate, use and create information. Those who can perform tasks effectively in a digital environment are considered digitally literate.
Being digitally literate not only means you can use technology effectively, but also that you can distinguish between good and bad information on the Internet. Because it is so easy to publish information, as the user, you have the responsibility of checking to make sure the sites you are using for your research are valid, legitimate and accurate.
